Real Madrid returns to the domestic league after an enforced break of 20 days due to the postponement of Matchdays 19 and 20 against UCAM Murcia and Monbus Obradoiro, respectively. The team's last game was the win against MoraBanc Andorra on 4 January. Today, the Whites welcome the Andorran team to the WiZink Center with the aim of clinching their seventeenth victory in the competition and maintaining a firm grip on the competition's top spot, where they are one win ahead of the second-placed team in the standings.

The hosts are league leaders after winning 16 games out of the 17 played (with two still to play) and they now face a demanding fixture in their last game of the week against the eleventh-placed team in the table. MoraBanc Andorra has a record of eight wins and nine defeats.
