Asensio turns 25

Marco Asensio is celebrating his 25th birthday today. The forward, who was born on 21 January 1996 in Palma de Mallorca is currently in his fifth season with the Real Madrid squad. He's made 168 appearances since his arrival, scoring 31 goals.

His madridista trophy cabinet already houses 11 titles: 2 Champions Leagues, 3 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 2 LaLiga titles and 2 Spanish Super Cups. Asensio has delivered some outstanding moments in the club's recent history, most notably his goal in the final against Juventus which clinched the Duodécima, his wonder strikes against Barcelona to seal a tenth Spanish Super Cup and his remarkable madridista debut against Sevilla in the European Super Cup. The forward has also made his full international debut for Spain, having previously been crowned U-19 European Champions with the national side.
