A barber has received praise after giving a homeless man an impressive haircut and beard trim for free - with many saying he looks unrecognisable.
French celebrity barber David Kodat, who goes by @davidkodatofficial, has taken to TikTok to document the process of cutting the man's unruly hair and beard.
The clip, which has garnered over 20, 000 views, shows the man sitting on the chair before the transformation, with his matted grey hair and beard which falls below his chest.
But a quick 360-degree spin on the seat after shows a fresh-faced man with a smart new trim and neat beard.

In the short film, the man's beard appears to be so long that it's hard to distinguish any of his facial expressions.
So David, who owns his own salon in Strasbourg, in northeastern France, begins by cutting large sections of the hair to reveal the man's face.
As the footage shows clumps of his hair falling to the floor, it then jumps to the completed look.
The homeless man, who can be seen smiling, boasts a dapper haircut neatly trimmed at the sides, and a perfectly groomed white beard.

And many were quick to praise the barber's handiwork - adding that the trim has taken years off the man's appearance.
'How he has changed,' wrote one, while a second penned: 'The hair and beard change everything.'
A third added: Wow! Amazing' while a fourth commented: 'We already saw goodness in his eyes but there it is even more blatant.'
Elsewhere, a fifth enthused: 'Handsome man! I hope this helps him move forward in life.'
