No new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Victoria, marking the state's ninth day of the virus-free streak.

Two cases have been diagnosed in hotel quarantine, with 28 active cases remaining state-wide.

Today's results come as thousands prepare to return to work in Melbourne's CBD from Monday for the first time in almost a year.
