Leeds United have been linked with an audacious swoop for Wolves winger Adama Traore, but will need to make him their club record signing to get him.
Traore's future has been under scrutiny this season with the Spanish winger having struggled to regularly hold down a place in the Nuno Santo's first-team.
And while he has been used more regularly of late, it has not dampened any speculation about the player's long-term position at Molineux.
According to Sport, Traore would expect to command a transfer fee of around £35m with the winger widely regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League when he is in full flow.
But while some Wolves fans have been unimpressed with his form this season, according to reports Nuno intends to keep the 24-year-old rather than sell him.
Leeds though remain undeterred and are said to be the club leading the race for his signature with Marcelo Bielsa claimed to be a big fan.
But it is also claimed that Traore has been unhappy with the lack of minutes he is getting on the pitch.
