Clearly, Pillsbury knew what it was doing when it introduced Funfetti cake mix over 30 years ago. Since then, Funfetti has shown up in everything from pancake mixes to baking morsels. Now, Pillsbury has rolled out a Funfetti Brownie Mix with Oreo-and we can't wait to whip up a batch!
What's the Funfetti Oreo Brownie Mix Like?
The mix comes in boxes with the familiar Pillsbury Doughboy on the package. It makes a batch of brownies that fit perfectly into your favorite 8x8 pan. And while Funfetti is normally a rainbow of color, the pictured brownies look dark, and fudgy, with Oreos peeking out.
Instagram account @candyhunting spotted this new mix on Instacart, and commenters are equally confused. Do you add your own Funfetti sprinkles after baking?
There's speculation that the image posted might not be finalized, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what the final product looks like. Whatever the case, the idea of Funfetti plus Oreos sounds amazing!
When Can I Buy It?
This new Funfetti mix made an appearance on Instacart, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's available in all areas quite yet. In the meantime, Pillsbury's regular Funfetti Brownie Mix is at most grocery stores.
