Wondering where to buy a PS5 at a bargain price? Stock is scarce but with the new year comes hope and a (small) chance of making a saving on Sony's next-gen console - not to mention the best PS5 games and accessories.

The good news is that more stock is landing - Best Buy, Sony Direct and Walmart all restocked just before Christmas. It's the latest in a series of stock drops that have had gamers all over the world hitting refresh on their browsers.

Fresh PS5 stock also arrived at Target on Monday 21st December 2020. A handful of retailers also restocked on 7th and 14th December (here's where). Not that getting your hands on a PS5 is easy, but there's everything to play for - quite literally.

Making a saving won't be easy either, but we're already seeing some awesome deals on PS5 games. PS5 deals on the console itself are unlikely given that demand is still outstripping supply but don't despair! Retailers are getting creative and we're seeing some of the best PS5 deals on games, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla for £65 £39.99 at Amazon.

We're also hoping for PS5 deals that combine Sony's console with additional PS5 DualSense wireless controllers or its handy Media Remote (the PS5 Pulse 3D gaming headset is sold out everywhere).

In other words, you won't be left empty-handed. Read on and we'll run down the best PS5 deals available right now.

How much does a PS5 cost?

The recommended retail price of the PS5 is £449 ($499, ?499, AU$749). Too expensive? You can grab a disc-less PS5 Digital Edition for £359 ($399, ?399, AU$599). Read our full PS5 vs PS5 Digital Edition comparison for a full breakdown of the two machines.

Both consoles sold out long before launch. Argos, Asda and Smyths have now sold out until January, but the likes of Amazon, Game, Walmart, Best Buy and Target are tipped to restock before Christmas Day. You'll find the latest savings (if there are any to be had yet) below.

Best PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition deals

Best PS5 accessory deals

PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller

The PS5 only comes with one controller in the box, so a second controller is a must for those who want to get stuck into multi-player gaming. The PS5 DualSense (£59.99, $69.99, AU$109) boasts improved haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that deliver a more immersive experience. So while you can use the PS4 DualShock with the PS5, it doesn't offer the new features of the PS5 controller. We've listed today's best PS5 controller prices below.

PS5 Pulse 3D Wireless Headset

Not only does the PS5 offer 4K HDR gaming, it also has 3D audio. But if you want to enjoy it - and you do, because it's one of the console's best features - you'll need one of these. The Pulse 3D Wireless Headset launched at £89.95 ($99.99, AU$159) but we've listed today's cheapest deals below. Not convinced? Then you might like to have a peek at our pick of the best gaming headsets for all consoles.

PS5 HD Camera

This new camera peripheral (£50, $60, AU$100) lets you add yourself to gameplay videos or video chat during multiplayer marathons. It works with the DualSense controller's 'Create' button, so you can jump into the PS5's video editing functions. You can actually use the old PS4 camera with the PS5, but the new PS5 HD camera ups the quality. For the best prices on this handy accessory, cast your eyes over the box below.

PS5 Media Remote

Want to use your PS5 as an entertainment hub? The PlayStation 5 Media Remote (£24.99, $29.99, AU$49) is a handy remote that will help you navigate everything from Netflix to 4K Blu-ray discs. If you want to use your PS5 as a media streamer, it's a must-have and doesn't cost the earth. Here's our pick of today's best Sony PS5 Media Remote deals.

PS5 DualSense Charging Station

This nifty dock allows you to charge up two wireless DualSense controllers simultaneously, so you need never be powerless. It's become a bit of a hot buy and sold out ahead of the PS5 launch. It's easier to come by these days, and most big retailers have stock. Fancy a PS5 DualSense Charging Station (£24.99, $29.99, AU$49)? You'll find all the cheapest prices below.

When will more PS5 deals show up?

Most stockists are currently sold out but restocks are often (if fleeting).

Some PS5 and PS5 Digital stock was available at Target on Monday 21st December, for example, while 3rd December saw a major restock, with Amazon, Argos, BT, Game, Walmart and Target releasing consoles as early as 3am.

Gamers snapped up that batch of consoles within hours, as they did the next stock drop on 7th and 14th December. Here's all the latest pointers on where to buy a PS5.

As for deals, Black Friday saw a slew of gaming discounts - mostly on legacy consoles. With the PS5 and Xbox Series X hogging all the headlines, there are plenty of PS4 deals and Xbox One deals to be had this winter.

Some of the best PS5 deals are to be had on games. Amazon is currently offering US gamers up to $10 off selected titles. Assassins Creed Valhalla, for example, is currently $60 $50 for the PS4 version - but it includes a free upgrade to the digital PS5 version.

Over at Walmart, you can pick up FIFA21 for $60 $29. Again, it's the PS4 version but includes a free upgrade to the PS5 version from 4th December. Given that most PS5 titles will run you at least £60 ($60, AU$100), that a cracking deal.

Meanwhile Best Buy members can get $10 in rewards when they purchase PS5 titles such as Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs: Legion. Not a Best Buy member? It's free to join, you can sign up here.

UK gamers are in line for similar savings on PS5 games and peripherals. Amazon UK has cut the price of Assassin's Creed Valhalla to £65 £39.99 and Watch Dogs to £52 £33.99 (for a limited time only). The PS4 edition of Marvel Avengers is down to £50 £27 and includes a free upgrade to the PS5 when it becomes available in 2021.

And, of course, there are plenty of deals to be had on the best gaming TVs. Sony has even certified selected models 'Ready for PS5', thus giving you an even better reason to splash out on a new screen.

Fancy a freebie? Sony is currently offering gamers a 7-day free trial of PlayStation Now, which includes access to the PS5 PlayStation Plus Collection (a selection of 20 games that had previously released on PS4, including God of War and The Last of Us: Remastered). We've also spotted some cheap PlayStation Plus deals lurking around.

So, although getting your hands on a PS5 console is currently a bit of a mission, we're expecting more and more PS5 deals to show up - including seasonal savings around January. Game on!
