Hands up if you have had your Christmas tree since mid-November. Hands up if said Christmas tree is now looking a tad worse for wear? Or maybe you have an artificial tree that just needs a bit of a spruce up because youv'e been staring at the same decs for a month? Well, we have been seeing this fab last minute Christmas tree decor idea on Pinterest and Instagram that can give your tree a little lift before the big day. Oh and obviously it's us, so obviously it's super easy and low maintenance too...

So what is this low maintenance, last-minute idea? Simple - stick a load of extra foliage into the greenery to give it an amazing, glamorous spruce up. We're talking pampas grasses, dried flowers, eucalyptus sprigs, trails of ivy, the more the better to add in loads of texture and layers of natural colors. You could even just head out into your garden and see what you can find out there, berries and holly could work too to add some classic red.

Add in as much or as little extra bits as you like - we love this really simple tree that just has a few pieces of dried grass and orange slices to create a really homemade, rustic look. You can try just laying them on top of the branches of your tree but if you need to secure them in place just use a bit of green florist wire

And we had to include this amazing Christmas tree which is pretty much made up entirely of pampas grass. Maybe not the most realistic look to recreate last minute, but we are for sure going to be using it for inspiration and bookmarking for next year!
