Throughout the NFL season, we're ranking all 32 current starting quarterbacks from best to worst. Here's the breakdown following Week 14:

32. Sam Darnold, New York Jets: The league's lowest-rated passer bombed again as the winless Jets were smashed by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

31. Brandon Allen, Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have averaged 10.3 points per game since turning to Allen. We all miss Joe Burrow.

30. Gardner Minshew II, Jacksonville Jaguars: It's time for another round of Minshew Mania; the second-year sixth-round pick gets his last shot at earning a long-term starting role in Jacksonville or elsewhere. The odds are stacked against him based on his 2020 numbers.

29. Drew Lock, Denver Broncos: The second-year second-round pick was incredibly good in a Week 14 win over the Carolina Panthers. The near-perfect four-touchdown performance was enough to move him out of the bottom spot, but his overall numbers remain ugly.

28. Andy Dalton, Dallas Cowboys: Let's not get too excited about a strong performance against the lowly Bengals. Dalton has bombed in four of his last six outings.

27. Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears: By no means do I believe in Trubisky, but his 117.4 passer rating in back-to-back 30-point games for the Bears is worth something. The next three games could shape the rest of his career.

26. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons: Ryan's last four games: 55.1 percent, four touchdowns to six interceptions, 66.0 passer rating.

25. Cam Newton, New England Patriots: Goodness. He has a 53.3 rating in his last three outings and truly is one of the least effective passers in the NFL. However, he does now have 11 rushing touchdowns.

24. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers: The inconsistent Garoppolo is hurt again. Not much more you can say about Jimmy G at this point.

23. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions: The picture of mediocrity for much of this season is now dealing with a rib injury.

22. Alex Smith, Washington Football Team: He was impressive in that Week 13 win over the previously unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers, but the veteran was a mess before suffering a leg injury in Week 14.

21. Daniel Jones, New York Giants: We won't hold a poor Week 14 performance against him too much because he's far from 100 percent, but eight touchdown passes in 12 games is pretty ridiculous. The leash will be short entering 2021.

20. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: No picks, half-decent passing numbers, and 106 rushing yards in a victorious NFL debut? That'll do.

19. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins: He isn't a game-changer yet, but how do you complain about a 9-to-1 touchdown-to-pick ratio?

18. Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers: He was okay in Denver in Week 14, but that's been the case much of the year. He might start 15 games and throw fewer than 20 touchdown passes.

17. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers: Drops are a factor, but he's fading fast and it's fair to wonder if he's running out of gas late in his age-38 season. Big Ben has an 80.6 passer rating in his last four games.

16. Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts: Four touchdowns, no picks, and a 119.1 passer rating the last two weeks for the old man, but can anyone trust him?

15. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings: The Vikes laid an egg in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but Cousins still has a 16-to-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio in his last seven games and is the league's eighth-highest-rated passer.

14. Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders: So much for the "new Derek Carr." Support hasn't been there, but that doesn't excuse falling off a cliff. He has an 85.8 passer rating in his last three games.

13. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: He was heroic and a stud with his legs despite completing just 11 passes in a big Week 14 win over the Cleveland Browns. It hasn't been a great third season for Jackson, but he's still above average.

12. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals: The sophomore rebounded to an extent in Week 14 after an ugly stretch, but he still hasn't been overly effective for much of the second half of the year. It's been a roller-coaster ride.

11. Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams: When Goff is clicking in that offense, he's a top-10 quarterback. When he's not, he's a bottom-10 quarterback.

10. Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: He's one of just four quarterbacks with 30-plus touchdown passes, which is pretty damn impressive at age 43.

9. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers: The rookie top-10 pick completed all but eight of 44 passes in a strong performance, as the Chargers beat the Falcons in Week 14. He has a good shot at Offensive Rookie of the Year.

8. Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns: The poor guy is the only quarterback in NFL history to lose two games in which he led his team to 42-plus points. It's really coming together.

7. Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans: Derrick Henry is the focus in Tennessee, but Tannehill has a 110.7 rating in the Titans' last four games.

6. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks: Wilson rebounded from a tough stretch by lighting up the Jets. But the keyword there is "Jets."

5. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Love the resiliency he showed after a poor first half in Buffalo's Week 14 victory over Pittsburgh.

4. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans: It's been a ride this year, but he's the league's fourth-highest-rated passer with a 25-to-6 touchdown-to-pick ratio.

3. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints: We're still waiting on the return of the NFL's third-highest-rated passer.

2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: The league's second-highest-rated passer just hasn't been crisp enough of late. He's thrown as many interceptions as touchdowns (three apiece) the last two weeks.

1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers: The 37-year-old leads the league in practically every category. He might throw 50 touchdown passes to five interceptions.
