"I pray we use the 'fine money' for the marginalized communities in need, especially seeing where our world is presently," Irving wrote on Instagram.
"I do not talk to pawns. My attention is worth more," he added.

Irving and the Brooklyn Nets were fined $25,000 each on Thursday for violating the NBA's media access rules.
Under the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement, half of the fine money the league collects is remitted to the NBPA Foundation or a qualified charitable organization.
