© Provided by RADIO.COM Two Louisiana Republican members of Congress say President Donald Trump should not concede defeat to Democratic President-elect Joe Biden until the states certify their election results. But Rep. Garret Graves and Rep. Steve Scalise disagree on if the Trump administration should cooperate with the Biden transition team.
Graves says he sees no reason why the Trump administration cannot do both:
"You can walk and chew gum: You can have a dual track where you're looking at the second term of a Trump administration while also having discussions with the Biden campaign to insure that should things go in that direction, you have a smooth transition."
Scalise disagrees.
"Not a single swing state has called their state for Joe Biden. That's why you have mandatory recounts for example, in states like Georgia where it's automatic, it's recounted, and so nobody has been declared the winner in Georgia," said Scalise.
Scalise also said that the court cases filed by the Trump campaign need to work themselves out.
