The latest James Bond film may well be delayed, but with Christmas on the horizon Léa Seydoux's new fashion campaign has been delivered with the sort of precision timing even 007 would be proud of.

The French actress - perhaps best known for her role as Dr. Madeleine Swann in Bond instalments Spectre and its forthcoming bedfellow, No Time To Die - takes centre stage in a glossy shoot on behalf of Louis Vuitton and its new collection, Game On.

An ambassador for the celebrated fashion house, Léa, 35, embraces the high-end range in a fantastical campaign inspired by its universally recognised signature Monogram and logo.

Presented during Louis Vuitton's 2021 Cruise Collection by Artistic Director of Women's Collections Nicolas Ghesquière, Game On finds canvas and lines merging between the Monogram flowers and four suits of a card deck.

Through a transversal collection, the range plays on Louis Vuitton's most iconic pieces including leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes and its iconic accessories.

Game On Canvas sees the Monogram reinterpreted on a black or white background with contrasting colours of bright blue and poppy red - a tiny heart replaces the Louis Vuitton signature blossom.

Modelling numerous item from the new range, Léa draws attention to notable accessories including the Petite Malle and Vanity PM in black and white, and the geometric Square bag in white leather.

With enlarged playing cards dominating the new shoot, she also shows off the Dauphine, Speedy, Neverfull, and Keepall bags in Game On Monogram.

Each one is adorned with giant hearts and blossoms in red, blue, pink and purple.

The shoot comes after co-star Daniel Craig defended James Bond producers' decision to delay the premiere of the new film - No Time To Die - until April next year.

The actor, 52, who plays the title role in the franchise, is the most high profile star from the film to speak out on the move, which was announced on Saturday.

The decision was followed by the news that Cineworld is set to temporarily close its theatres in the UK and Ireland as well as its 536 U.S. Regal cinemas, while Odeon announced around a quarter of its 120 venues will move to a weekend-only model.

In recent weeks dozens of blockbusters have announced that they plan to push back their launch until next year or even 2022, amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Craig said: 'This thing is just bigger than all of us.

'We want to release the movie at the same time all around the world and this isn't the right time. So fingers cross April 2 is going to be our date.'
