West Ham have been linked with a move for Inter Milan left-back Dalbert Henrique by Sempreinter.

The Hammers are apparently joined in their interest of the Brazilian by fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.

David Moyes' pursuit of a left-back is now common knowledge as the manager attempts to bring in competition, and possible upgrades, for the Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku.

Dalbert certainly doesn't seem to be a part of the plans at Antonio Conte's Inter and West Ham could be in a prime position to bring the 27-year-old to England.

The left-back spent the entirety of last season on loan at Serie A side Fiorentina, making 34 appearances in total.

It was a successful spell as Dalbert proved his worth in the opposition half, assisting nine goals.

The report also claims it would cost around ?20 million (£18 million) to sign the Brazilian, an asking price which may put interested parties off given his clear surplus to requirements status at the Italian giants.

Whilst Cresswell has been a superb servant to the club there is no room for sentiment at the London Stadium, Moyes and the club need to be ruthless to get the best out of their resources.
