Gaming fans have been waiting with baited breath for the new Sony PlayStation 5 release.
And now after much anticipation the next generation console is finally available to pre-order across the UK.
The price of the new console is £449.99, which is around the same price point as its rival the Xbox Series X.
Major retailers including Amazon, ShopTo, Argos, Currys and Very have already set up pre-order pages and these are now live for shoppers to take advantage of.
The PS5 is hotly tipped to have a November release date, just in time for Christmas and around the same time as the other big gaming release - the Xbox Series X.

From what has been officially revealed so far, fans can expect next-generation gameplay thanks to a far more powerful console. The PS5 will also feature impressive 8k graphics support.
In June Sony unveiled the futuristic design, which comes with a black middle section and white panels on either side. It also features blue lights and a combination of angular and rounded shapes adding to the contemporary look and feel.
Speaking at the launch event, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said: "It's now just over a year since we started sharing technical details about the PlayStation 5.
"But today's the day we've been waiting for for years - when we get to show you some of the games that demonstrate our belief that PlayStation 5 marks the biggest generational transition our industry has yet seen."
