August Bank Holiday opening hours for McDonald's, Nando's, Burger King and more

If you find yourself craving your favourite fast-food fix during the extra day off this weekend but aren't sure of the opening times for your nearest restaurant, fear not.

Over the past few months, Major chains including McDonald's and KFC have opened stores across the UK for for dine-in.

The majority of restaurants are now operating under strict social distancing measured in line with government restrictions to keep staff and customers safe.

Those who are planning to eat in at their nearest fast-food outlet will be pleased to hear that many restaurants will continue the government's Eat Out to Help Out offer on Bank Holiday Monday.

The scheme, which is due to end on August 31st, allows diners to get 50% off their bill between Mondays and Wednesdays.

Despite it being a Bank Holiday next Monday the offer will still apply.

Below are the opening hours of popular fast food chains over the August Bank Holiday Monday.

McDonald's

McDonald's usually runs a normal service on bank holidays, but it's best to check your local store's hours to avoid disappointment.

Selected restaurants will be open for dine-in, while most drive-thrus will remain open and orders can also be placed on JustEat.

The fast food giant will also continue to run the Eat Out to Help Out offer in stores across the UK.

Monday August 31:  Some stores open from 7am to 10pm, but most are open 24 hours.

Nando's

Nando's has reopened a number of restaurants to the public, whilst offering a delivery service via Deliveroo in selected UK locations.

The chicken chain has also been taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme this month.

Monday August 31: Some restaurants will be open from midday to 9pm,

KFC

KFC has reopened several restaurants across the UK for dine-in once again, but social distancing rules are in place.

The fast food giant has been offering 50% off between Mondays and Wednesdays all month as part of the Eat Out to Help Out offer.

Delivery orders can be placed via Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat.

Monday August 31: Most restaurants are open between 10am and 11pm.

Burger King

Burger King fans will be able to get their fast-food fix on Bank Holiday Monday, with restaurants open for both dine-in and takeaway.

Customers can also place their orders via Deliveroo and Just Eat.

Monday August 31: 11am to 10pm for most stores.

TGI Friday's will be open to the public throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, but opening times can vary from store to store.
