Kylie Jenner has denied sending cease and desist letters to an Australian mother over her Rise and Shine catchphrase, after the reality TV mogul filed to trademark the saying.

The 22-year-old took to social media on Sunday to deny reports that her lawyers had contacted a small business on the Gold Coast over their use of the same phrase on t-shirts.

'Guys, please don't believe everything you read. I have not sent any Rise and Shine cease and desist letters,' Jenner tweeted.

'Rise and Shine was an unexpected moment.. I had a lot of fun with it, and I have laughed so hard seeing everyone's memes since the video came out a few weeks ago,' she said.

She then added: 'There are no lawsuits, no cease and desist letters. Happy Sunday.'

On November 1, MTV Australia reported that the small business owner claimed she had received a letter from Jenner's lawyers asking her to stop selling shirts with the phrase 'Rise and Shine' on them.

But the woman had been selling the shirts for more than a year.

However, when the news started circulating on Twitter, Jenner responded, insisting: 'Lies lies lies. Never did this. Wow.'

Then the business in question - Cased Clothing - also took to social media to deny that there was any truth to the reports.

'We currently do not and have never had a problem with Kylie Jenner,' the business shared.

'We are unsure where all this started and we do not want to be involved.'

Last Wednesday, Jenner took to Snapchat to model her new Rise And Shine black hoodie while her new best friend Stassie wore a white one.

She even sang Rise And Shine for her fans as she filmed away in the $95 top.

However, the sweatshirts have been sold out for weeks already although they will likely be restocked soon.

Jenner wore her long black hair down as she took the video in a mirror.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added a filter to her face as well as Stassie's.

That same day, Jenner shared a photo where she was in all black modeling her Kylie Cosmetics makeup line which is on sale online and at Ulta.

She filed multiple trademark applications for her new catchphrase - and an alternative spelling Riiise and Shiiine - weeks ago.
