A huge fire has broken out at a hotel on the outskirts of Bristol.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said eight crews are at the Premier Inn on Catbrain Hill following reports of a fire in a laundry room on the third floor, ITV News reported.
Crews are working with police, Bristol Water and the Environment Agency to ensure that the scene is safe.
Smoke was seen billowing into the sky from the nearby M5 and Cribbs Causeway shopping centre.
Fire crews have urged residents in the local area to close doors and windows due to smoke from the incident.
Road closures are in place as the blaze continues.
Cribbs Causeway, the A4018, is closed in both directions between Clifton Rugby Club and Lysander Road.
Buses are also being diverted.
