A runner was cut after having a blade held against her throat during a terrifying robbery in a Birmingham park.
West Midlands Police are on the hunt for the thug after he approached the woman - who was jogging in Rowheath Playing Fields, Bournville - and held a sharp object around her neck.
The robber demanded her running belt and money, which the victim handed over on Wednesday, January 9. He then fled the scene at around 8pm.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said patrols had been stepped up following the horror incident.

"The woman was walking near the pavilion at around 8pm when she was approached from behind by a man who put his arm and a sharp object around her neck.

"He demanded her running belt and money. She handed her belt over to him and the man left. She suffered some small cuts to her neck.
